City of Bones (The Mortal Instruments, #1)
I so wanted to love this book, unfortunately that did not happen.As it is the first in the series there was a lot of world building and getting to know the characters. It wasn't until the last 20% of the book that I actually really wanted to know what happened and at last became engrossed!
This is a very popular book well written with great characters, aimed at young adults and I think it would be unfair to take my opinion on this book as a basis for not reading it, when in truth it has more to do with the fact that it just was not the book for me.
